Accord IEP, LLC ("Accord," "we," "us") provides a special education management platform for Texas school districts. These terms govern your use of our website, accordiep.com, including our contact form.
These terms do not govern use of the Accord platform itself. Platform access is provided to school districts under a signed service agreement and student data privacy agreement, and those signed agreements control platform use for the district and its staff. If anything in these terms conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
The content on accordiep.com is for general information about our company and product. It is not legal advice. Special education law — including IDEA, FERPA, and the Texas Education Code — is complicated and fact-specific; nothing on our site is a substitute for guidance from your district's counsel or special education leadership.
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that every page is complete, current, or error-free, and we may change content at any time without notice.
The website and its content — text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by Accord IEP, LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the site freely. You may not copy, modify, or republish site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
"Accord IEP" and our logo are trademarks of Accord IEP, LLC.
If you submit our contact form, you're giving us the information voluntarily so we can respond. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please don't submit confidential student information through the contact form — student records belong in the platform, under a signed agreement, not in a website form.
The site may link to third-party websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
The website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accord IEP, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in it applies to a district's use of the platform under a signed agreement — those agreements contain their own terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on the site. Continued use of the website after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
